When untreated, a child with ADHD is 32% more likely to drop out of high school, twice as likely to get into car accidents, 56% more likely to commit suicide, impulse issues also lead to serious financial problems, 70% of those with ADHD are also diagnosed with depression and anxiety. ADHD also usually leads to prematured lifespan by 14 years cut from average lifespan.

That’s just 1 thing that I’ve outlined for you. That’s why it’s a disorder and why those with ADHD are considered special needs.

They didn’t have that when you were growing up. It wasn’t recognized as a problem back then, comparing your childhood to now can’t be done. It isn’t the same.

Medicine has improved as well as therapies and the full understanding of the disorder and has changed definitions over time.
