For me it isn't worth it. I imagine for others as well. Based on overall forum participation I imagine others feel the same...... but everyone has their own reasons.

It is really sad though.... when I started years and tears ago.... the forums were the reason I stuck around. Now they are the one thing I avoid 99% of the time.

I concur with above post. I had even considered posting a poll to outline possible reasons for lack of forum participation and activity but... not in my current job description.
I've become NAAFAI on the topic.

I agree with both of ya! Stan, I would love to see that poll, not that the outcome will change anything, but would be fun to see

Well if the poll doesn't include the option "Dez is a tyrant", it's bogus, biased, and not to be believed.

If i could sum this up simply its not really the flaming.
Its the thread hijacking of legitimate suggestions and discussions, in good fun threads, or just plain threads that have little relevance to you other than you dislike a poster.

I would support moderation of off topic censorship.
By means of resquest a move off topic to flame thread by poster
And then a mod deleting of off topic comments from the serious thread within a reasonable time frame after said request.

If its a flame thread, by all means

Negativity towards pirates in a pirate game.

Negativity towards voodoo casters in a game where that is a big part of how the game functions.

Followed by

General hatered of the fact that most make suggestions in their own self interest vs the interest of the overall game.

Also Suggesting the poll option of.
