Not to complain, but without a summation of the RP going on at the beginning, it makes it very difficult to join in and follow.

Gaster follows her, his jeweled eyes flashing.

Yeah, it is a bit hard to join in off of just a few sentences that he gave with no context.

Emily and Gaster go through, and quickly find themselves entering a tavern called the Hag's Hovel in Regis. Emily walks over to Burt the bartender, sits down and orders a drink. She looks around a bit nodding to Burt as she speaks loud enough for everyone to hear as she looks to Burt

So, been hearing rumors of young folks going missing, anyone got any idea what that's all about? That old sea hag isn't eating kids for being on her lawn again is she? Pretty sure she was told to stop doing that.

And old man looks up fro his grog, blinking to clear the fog of drink from his mind.

Don't shout about it... The folks what investigate.... They ain't ever seen again. If I were you, I'd investigate the wealthy folk. Especially the Hawthornes. Strange folk, they are. Pale as freshly whitewashed fences, and mean as an injured bobcat.

Emily just shrugs

I'm not too worried about myself. Regardless, sounds as good a lead as any. You ready to head out Gaster?

Gaster had become rather distracted by a pair of young women, and wasn't listening.

Emily whispers to him while nudging him a bit

Oy, try not to stare, otherwise folks might start to think you might be the reason young folks go missing. If you want to hang around them to keep them safe, feel free, but I'm going to go check out the Hawthorne mansion.

Emily quickly get's directions, and heads to the mansion. She knocks on the door, and a butler answers it, looking a bit confused as he looks to Emily, then behind him, and back a few times before calling out

Uh, Miss Veera, someone who looks a lot like you is at the door?

A moment later Veera walks out and looks confused at first, then annoyed as she quickly grabs Emily and Gaster and starts dragging them away

Damn it Emily, I told you the party I was going to isn't the kind of party you would like, besides, you don't have an invite. Gaster, you should leave too. I doubt you would enjoy this party either.

After dragging them both a good bit away she looks to both of them

Now unless you need me for something, you should head home.

Gaster laughs, a note of viciousness in it.

You know nothing about me, Veera. As for invitations, I think you'll find that we do. I had an inkling the Hawthornes were involved in the disappearances, so I made a very large donation to the port coffers, and made a second one under Emily's name.
