Voting times

When 75% of the nation has voted can the timer for voting be shortened or can it just finish.

Why should it be limited to the council

Total Players: 2,877 (Ranked 1st)

Even if 1/10 of those players have a voting power of 1 there's no possible way for 75% of them to vote :P

Why is this needed? Laws should not be revised daily. The voting time needed for each revision serves the purpose of the last voting.

It should sometimes take days based on the importance of the law. Spain has 4 current Council Members, Some have 10 or more, each nations own political system will function differently. However it should not require a majority of all nation members to be present. As in real government if you miss the vote and quorum is present (meaning at least half, a simple majority), they vote without those absent. Everyone should have a vote, but not a vote that can be daily changed to cause problems or waits for weeks stunting nation growth. Also I think only Councilors should be able to call a vote, not just every citizen can offer laws directly to the Government. They must petition a Councilor to see their law approved as real life political groups and leaders do. Perhaps a minimum time of enforcement for new laws is required so people are not always changing laws?

Not to mention, quorum depends on the country's specific documentation. In American congressional debate, quorum is two-thirds majority. It may be different depending on the country.
