I am so pleased for you that you found the courage to post, Thomas.
The responses could be an eye-opener for some. Including myself. Bangers comments about how soft the game has become I find interesting and would like to know more about that time and how the game was set that it was 'hard' rather than soft.

Im thinking the easier availability of SOTLs may have contributed to that and as a pirate who likes to chase the privateers who chase the pirates, Solts are necessary if I am able to be competitive at all. But I am looking to return to the tradition of crappy pirate fleets - (so no need to be skeered anymore, you privateers ) lol and ofc that will change things for me- Banger is right - it wont be as easy.
