BREAKING NEWS : DAY 3044 - kING ERIC OF LICHTENSTEIN DECLARES WAR ON SPAIN!!!
When asked why...The mighty King Eric stated : "a certain Duke of Spain performed a raid on a former guildmate of mine. My former guildmate retaliated but it was ineffective. The said Duke of Spain decided to brag about the ineffectiveness of the retaliation, as such I retaliated in kind".
Here at MIAB we agreed it was a fair call.

Day 2988: pjkgamer hits Nobility ranking named as Marquess - MIAB was actually taken aback when it was discovered this gentleman first sailed into Avomora on day 1515. According to his bio, this is his first rank up. Congratulations pjk. A long journey indeedy!
MIAB reports Dauner Light, reappeared this month after some time off the plunder boards, returning to be named as a Major of Camero.
MIAB was happily surprised to see Dauner and hoped for a story about where the heck is Camero and what the hey goes on there but she had disappeared into the night without a word and as quickly as she came...
Day 2990: Averson named as a Duke of United States of America.
MIAB can accurately report this is Averson's 5th rank up to Duke in the USA and we here at MIAB, are beginning to wonder (and talk in the tea room), about what exactly it is Averson keeps doing that sees him so often tossed from the ranks of nobility? We are hoping for further information on this.
Further Investigations have revealed , the quiet and charming gentleman, Bomont, (who, has in fact himself ranked 12 times to Duke in the one nation, may have some insight on the goings on over there in the good old USA due to his own number of oustings from the noble class. We will follow up on this report.
Captain Da Vinci named as a King of South Africa .. may as well skip a number of other individual countries not to be dismissive- (we know he is 'King of' Everything' anyway).
MIAB finally receives a rubber stamp with the print 'Congrats, CDV' on it (bc the need speaks for itself).
Day 2991: madshan named as a Queen of Madagascar...The talented youngster impressively ranking up in good time.
For her first queenly call, madQueenshan attempted to change the name of Madagascar to "Maddy-gascar."
Sadly, her suggestion went unnoticed and her desire unmet.
The name of this idyllic island remains the same which is just as well as madQueenshan of Madagascar is no more and madshan currently resides back in Spain.
Day 2992: The Accountant leads the way back to US Nobility ranking to Duke - for the 5th time! (There is definitely something strange going on in the neighbourhood)
Day 2993: Captain Nemo, (This editor has had dealings with his brother Ahab), ranks up in style to be named Duke. So he should. 9th time.
MIAB hear the congrats were more of a "meh-onya" kinda thing although we believe there was some raucous laughter involved as well.
Day 2995: King Kyle sits himself on the throne in China - MIAB hears of no objections or complaints and he was even able to Revise Tax Laws unsupervised and unopposed. Good work, Kyle.
Also on this day, MIAB can proudly report well-known,,, privateer and bounty hunter Tom Lowe, continued to amaze us with his 20k Battles Won . A pace-setter for aspiring young pirates..er players.
Day 2997: Crazy Horse also 're-Dukes' himself for the 5th time in the USA (just what have these scallys been up to?)
Days 2995-3024: In magnanimous gestures of good will, much parchment and squid ink were consumed in the pursuit of signed peace and allied treaties. Many sparring nations are now neutral due to both Dez, aka King Eric of Lichtenstein and Leo the Conqueror who ranked up in Liberia and surprisingly restored homeostasis instead of his usual "I am what is known as a a lightning rod" response..
Leo deftly cleaned up the mess left by the former ruler before the spectre of A'ck had him out of there faster than a goanna up a gumtree and ranking up back in Spain before sunset. Although it was a leisurely stroll back to his noble title, MIAB is informed Leo was welcomed home. Or so reports MAIBs man on the ground there. Again, - not 100% confirmed.
MIAB notes there is also some question raised about King Eric and whether anyone thinks he may actually be growing 'traditional native tobacco' in Lichtenstein.
Suddenly, it appears, our spies report, it now seems all about 'love thy neighbor, peace and allies" over there.
MIAB has been assured it is simply the magic of the ever increasing abundance and availability of cheesy poofs that brings a smile and sense of wellbeing to all citizens of peaceful Lichtenstein..
Day 2998: sees Captain Da Vinci named as a King of Mozambique. No sooner was the crown placed on his head, he had given it away, got off the throne and quickly taken off...(apparently not enough fawning beauties for his liking, or so MIAB was informed - we can only report hearsay because as usual, we are always a few steps behind him and now he was heading for Madagascar in a hurry). We at MIAB are exhausted from this chase but forever committed to our readers, we push on.
Day 2999: MIAB was told when CDV arrived in Madagascar, madQueenshan, wasn't, at first, surprised, yet was quite unsure what was going on but graciously stepped back and allowed CDV to wear her crown...albeit only for a few days. She apparently handed him one from her own extensive collection for him to use while he was there. Some Generosity there. Nice. We asked the local ladies about CDV but they shook their heads or shrugged and said nothing. There was apparently little fanfare or interest for a king such as him here so, a little miffed, he was off quickly to Zimbabwe in search of more beauties...so say our reliable sources.
Rumour has it CDV has "so many crowns now , he just gives them away".

Meanwhile, Bomont ranks for the 9th time as Duke of his beloved USA. (MIAB needs to speak with Bomont for further comment).
Day 3003: Angre ranks up to DUKE in Spain for the 6th time no less.
Day 3005: Leo begins ranking in Liberia. MIAB understands he had a great deal of support along the way but it was not without some trouble with the natives and such...enough said...(ahem, not looking at anyone).
Day 3006: Not to be left out of the party, 4 time Duke of Spain, Cogz makes it #5!
Day 3009: MIAB hears that Da Vinci had at last found another bevy of beauties while ranking up in Nambia. He was not seen for a full 7 days then suddenly turned up in Angola, looking a little ragged and worse for wear. Again, MIAB were a few minutes behind when CDV took off the Angola robes and aimed the pointy end of his fleets towards Zambia and finally onto Tanzania.
This African safari is rolling in record time. To Date:
9 CROWNS IN 31 DAYS. (if MIAB has counted correctly-anyway - but it was lots) - Impressive. CONGRATS, CDV - (See? the stamp is much quicker)
Day 3010: Message in A Bottle reports
Not to be over-shadowed by Shadowoods' impressive opening of 13 businesses in one day last month, Mack returns a deadly salvo with 20 of his own. Well done, Macca!
MIAB received word Mack was indeed pleased with himself, understandAbly...
Our reports claim there was only a little bit of wriggle room to celebrate at the Channel Islands after-party.
Apparently, a half dozen "Huzzahs" led alternatively by Tom and Mack and a pot of rum shared between them all, the locals settled exhausted from the effort.
MIAB also have an update on the now infamous Channel Island bucket. Tom is true to his word and the bucket is safe. Not quite as shiny but all good we are assured.
Day 3019: A really special recipe was mixed at the Witch Hut on the last new moon and infused to its potency on the December full moon. Because of this, MIAB were able to magically bring you this photograph of xPro racing back to the seat of power in the USA.
Using his influence he slipped easily back into his fancy robes and was heard singing a boppy but rasping version of a knee-slapping, spoon playing, toe-tappin' anthem. All USA citizens joined in and were seen to begin nodding their heads in time to the beat, holding their hands over their hearts and crooning about ' old glory'. Further investigations have shown MIAB that 'old glory' is not, actually, a brand of rum or any other type of alcohol
