Also not true. They don’t have to take orders from you is what I’m getting at. Even if you asked me to show my logs, I wouldnt. Not your business nor do I have an obligation to do so.

If you are going to accuse someone of Props maybe you should be sure they cast them...

All of the above makes sense to me. Everyone has his own opinion about this. Do not expect that others see this the same way you do. Retaliation may come in any form, by anyone and against anyone. It may seem completely random to some, while totally logical to others.

Personally, I will not attack anyone based on what they say in the forums (with the possible exception of certain posts in the Union of Honor). I will definitely never attack anyone in-game because they disagree with me about how some new feature should be implemented, for instance. This is because I do not wish to discourage people from using the forums.

But, again, that is how I see it - and this, too, is something everyone sees differently. Other players may indeed attack you if you say something they disagree with in the forums. I think that is a little sad, as it may make some players afraid to use the forums, but everyone has his or her own opinion about how they should play.

isn't it a saying that if I attack you, we play by your rules, you attack me we play by mine? If leo hit first, he shouldn't be upset that Dez hit him with props, if he really did that is.

I did not attack Dez. I attacked one of Dez's old guildmates and Dez attacked me. So I guess that means we play by the guildmate's rules and by my rules.

You can control your action, but you cannot control the reaction.

Very true. Which is why it does not make sense to blame me for this war.

Never expect anyone to play by your rules - everyone plays by their own rules. Your rule is retaliation if I attack you? Well, maybe my rule is massive escalation if you retaliate? Your rule is to assist your guildmates when I plunder them? Well, maybe my rule is to attack anyone who assists those I plunder?

See how this can escalate to massive wars in simple yet beautiful ways.

I think Dez's issue if I recall correctly was you hit him(his old guildmate), then bragged about it in some way. Won't lie- most folks don't like a braggart. Though, I can't recall what you said honestly, or if it was really much of a brag. I'm sure Dez could answer better. My old mind isn't very good at remembering many things :D
