The gc-credit rate will be unaffected. If we increase credits 100x, then the credits instead of 100k and 130k, will trade at 1k and 1.3k
Right now, a booster costs, lets say 2M gc (100k rate) or 20 credits. After this change, it will still cost 2M or 2000 credits. See? No change.

I must admit that the confusion this creates already weights the scale towards the division of the credit (0.01)

If you devalue the credit to that point, why even have them? Gold bars would be a better trading tool. You should phase out credits and make all purchases be gold coin. There you can have a single monetary market for trading voodoo, ships, etc. Instead of players buying credits they can just buy gc and/or booster packs of voodoo.

I just belive that the process will run smoother with credit cents, since this will not really require any long stop in the ongoing trade, nor any "adjustment" in the mind of those whose minds need to adjust to such changes. The only change required, is that trades can be done in measures of 0.01 credits, rather than measures of 1 credit.

i would rather have 1000 credits then 10.00 credits for some reason it makes me feel richer and if you think about it credit cents at least in my mine would be embarrassing to trade with plus people could just pay .01 credit for something on the market and get it i would rather get a full credit even if it too more of them to do stuff with

I concur - this solution would work.

But 1 gold coin with cent fractions is 100cents : 10 gold coins is 1000 cents : so, in reality, we have the big number option this way too, we just call it something else!

Whatever we call it, lets do it.

I would rathet not devalue the credit by 100×
I believe this is too radical a change
Would a 10× reduction not be sufficient?
I don't know, it seems to me if they ain't got you one way they got you another,
So what's the answer? that's what I keep asking myself, what's it all about?
Know what l mean?
