Right now the Ruby Necklace card and the Ruby Ring can be purchased for a cheap amount of credits because alot of people who already are married in the game and who might be getting extra ruby necklaces and ruby rings from their daily presents don't have anything else to do with the cards. If the proposed voodoo curse that I wrote above gets through the game then I don't think that the ruby ring and ruby necklace cards will be as cheap on the market since there will be a continual use for the cards so it won't be a "cheap fix" for anything to do with affinity ratings for the governor's son/daughter. I also think that if other cards pertaining to the governor's son/daughter quest were introduced to the game then that will also inflate the amount of credits that anyone would sell per ruby ring/ruby necklace card because anything to do with the governor's son/daughter will be more active in the game even after someone gets married.

Off the top of my head the only other idea for a card pertaining to the governor's son/daughter would be:

Card Ability - Anniversary(Uncommon Curse)

Requirement - Must be married to a governor's son/daughter. The governor's son/daughter's affinity must be 100 and his/her mood must be "walking on clouds".

You gain two extra presents/voodoo cards from your spouse.

The goal of voodoo is to make it hard to obtain, not easy. This card alone can get you more than 1 alone. I think it should take more than 1 card to get cards. As Astra said, I think the card should increase your chances to get a rare instead on getting more cards. It would basically be getting 1 free card, as 2 - 1 = 1. You would get the 2nd without doing anything. the 1st would be a trade-off of casting your proposed card. That is economically overpowered.

I didn't think that both the 100% affinity and the "walking on the clouds" status would be maintained for seven days. I have noticed both the affinity rating and the "walking on clouds" moods dip and the dips seem to happen more recent than 7days.

If the card would be too powerful then I would not include any governor's son/daughter that you are already married to for the extra present.


It reduces by 1% everyday, and the mood drops by 1 every 7 days, I think.

Today I spent 21 turns to get 5 different governor's daughters affinity to 100% and making certain that they are "walking on the clouds". This is after I made certain that they all have an affinity of 100% and "walking in the clouds" about 24 hours ago. On top of that when I tried to improve the mood the compliments and talking was not always successful, so it does seem like the game has some checks and balances in it when it comes to maintaining the 100% and "walking on the clouds" mood among several different governor's sons/daughters.

On top of that I thought of an additional card:

Meet The Parents(Rare Curse)

Requirement: Must have a governor's son/daughter with 100 affinity and he/she must all be walking on clouds. The governor's son/daughter must also be of a different country than your own.

The governor's son/daughter introduces you to the governor. Your hostility with the governor's nation drops by 50. Should you be married to the governor's son/daughter than your hostility with the governor's nation drops by 75(just like the hired diplomat card).
