From the back, an 8 foot tall armored man stomps forward, before shouting in a somewhat surprised yet happy voice

Oh, hey it's you guys. You know you wouldn't believe how much I'm getting paid for such a relatively easy job. Some quick ransoms for quick and harmless cash. What are you guys up to?

Agrat laughs as the men shout for Eloth to attack, as Agrat shouts to Veera

Oh look Imp, it's your cousin Tyke. What a pleasant surprise.

That is, if you're willing to call off your hired muscle. I really don't wanna have to give his face 3rd degree burns.

You can't burn me mate, your little belch flames would be more relaxing then harmful to me. Regardless I'll parley. Don't like fighting family, plus I like most of you guys.

The other men talk for a moment before agreeing

Fine. You give us a lot of gold and treasure, we return the hostages. You try to backstab us, we raid the port and hurt and kill all we can.

Black shoots Jack a dirty look.

Jack grins. He takes out a large packet full of maps.

How much would you like? I’ve got masses of stuff buried all over the place.

One of the men shakes his head

Sorry, for all we know those maps are all fake. Or you might try and dig it up before we can. I suppose we could accept it, keep the hostages and then release them after we dig it up and verify it, but that would take a while. We would rather give back the hostages sooner, then later. It's really a pain in the arse to take care of hostages.

Veera steps forward, and gives a large smile as she speaks

How about you take us to your leader, so we can discuss things with him or her?

The men talk for a while before nodding

Fine. Follow us. We're gonna send a couple men to the town to discuss things with the governor.

2 men continue into town, while the rest start going back into the forests. Eloth lingers behind to walk with the others

So how are you all doing? Fancy meeting you here. Sad to say that I already made an agreement with these folks, so I can't just backstab them. If word get's out that I did that, I'd be a lot harder to get merc jobs you know? No one wants to hire a merc who will break an agreement without a good reason.

I'm glad I raided those Spanish convoys now. But, yeah, I been fine, Eloth. My fleet is now worthy of an admiral, at least. I'm backed up by three ships of the line now

Eloth nods and chat's happily, as the men lead them into the forest, then into a nearby mountain pass filled with tea plants. After a while the men stop at a a cave entrance and say that's where the boss lives. Agrat looks to Veera with a smile as she says to the group

This place brings back memories. You know, an Abura sumashi used to live in this pass.

A voice can be heard from a distance shouting

Agrat laughs before walking off
