Planation Happiness

Postby The Lamb » Fri Dec 18, 2020 12:05 am

I have a question if anyone has any insight. I havent changed anything in a plantation of mine with 2000 acres. My peoples happiness is 1% when it was 75%. For some reason it just crashed.

My fields are 2.5 stars, although i thought they were more before, but the past week i have sunk 25,000 gold bars into upgrading recreation and it hasnt moved from 2.5 stars and my peeps are all still pist. Does this sound right?

Had a similar exp... found that adding more acres to recreation seemed to gain it more stars and stabilise happiness... go figure...

Think number of workers in an area does impact on star rating gain... I think its relative to your overall worker numbers.. even pouring in GB's wont help if there just aint enough of them to service the population.

Also... check you have enough required resources for daily consumption..

I know.. it sounded counter-intuitive to me but worked.. maybe if there aint enough acres you aint ever gonna build enough on them to service the pop.

I do notice on mine there is a point of stability where happiness just sits.. but a move up or down the stars impacts quickly when dropping but slower when rising.

The ONLY happiness to plantations is killing workers ;)

To get 8 hours of work out of your workers, I found I needed at least 3 stars across the board but in particular rec parks for happiness.
If I go over 10-11 hours work, 4-5 stars are needed and if you go 12-more hrs, there is nothing you can do to keep them happy.
They are probably going to crash and the only solution is to constantly rotate the workers with new novice ones or buy some from a reputable seller.

:D :D

On another note, you might have too little acres allocated to Rec for the total pop.
Feeding your workings enough?
