As I sit in the tavern of Seaglory with a scotch in hand, I begin to think about how I continue to build a team specifically designed to take over ports and then hold them against attacks from the very folks I took the port from. I begin to comb through names of pirates, privateers, and traders looking for that hidden gem, someone who can help our team succeed in its mission but may not be on the radar regularly. As I think back, I remember the name of a person that I once had the pleasure of working with briefly in the past. A nation loyalist, someone who you can rely on when you need influence and support. So to close out the 4th round, I choose SlammerG!
Now, this is where things get real interesting. The beginning of round 5! The heaviest of hitters, some of the elite players of Avonmora, the likes that ye never want to catch their ire. The possibilities here are endless. Do I take CDV, the legend who has seen and done it all? Do I take PK, probably one of the more respected captains to ever sail Avonmora's seas? Or perhaps SHM or BS, the top bankers in the game as well as leaders of Tokelau for many moons? The answer to all these questions after much thought is no. While these are all good choices, the context of this draft requires a different angle. Who do I want on my team that is the ONE captain that comes to mind that I wouldn't want someone else to have on their team for the mission at hand? Who is a captain that I have witnessed on several occasions flex his muscle to take ports from seemingly strong nations? This becomes a very narrow list very fast. The answer to this question is that the easy pick here is a fella that has a voodoo chest the likes we have never seen. A captain that has endless resources and what seems like endless turns when the battle rages on. So without further ado, my selection to start round 5 is the leader of MERC himself, PULPOP!
