Politicians making deals to benefit their constituents or supporters? Define 'pork barrel'. They all do it and if it offends or not seems to depend on whether you are one of the said constituents.

The Middle East? Yep, its about money, water rights, economic aid, trade, military aid, arms sales, oil, regional influence, geo-politics, tribalism, rascism, nationalism, imperialism and plain old stubborn arseholeism. A sordid mess of conflicting interests, historical truths and untruths, agreements held to or abandoned, treaties made and broken, dreams and wishrs fulfilled and unfulfilled.

In short, one peace treaty, amongst hundreds stillborn, does not even start to resolve matters in that region. Given it creates a dozen more points of contention, it could be argued it makes it worse.

Mack it isn't all about money, humans have kindness too. You said Influenza had more deaths this year by 30k but that is because it had a head start. Influenza is a older disease than Covid and I'm pretty sure effects the same amount of people each year whilst Covid is a new disease that has not established itself everywhere like Influenza has. Covid also started from a lower amount of infected people as well and probably has not reached it's peak yet whilst Influenza likely has.

4 people out of the millions of cases worldwide have contracted covid twice that cant be said about the flu....... ever

its in every government that utilizes politicians

Really? Do you Really think that's a big issue? I mean, compared to Obama doing drone strikes, one of them which killed an AMERICAN citizen? Or the fact that Biden, as soon as he won, immediately turned his back on the progressive democrats, and won't give Warren or Sanders a spot on his cabinent despite their support? If you truly think, that something as simple and common as a bloody slip of the tongue really matters compared to matters of war, innocent folks being killed, betrayal etc. then you truly are blinded by your hate of trump.
