I just reached 2B plunder balance as well. I had under 1B when I resumed playing in early May, so that's 1B in around 6 months. Seems like it's faster now than it used to be. Plunder tech is responsible for a huge part of this plunder.

This is of course not 2B plunder PROFIT. It says plunder "balance", but it only takes into account how much gold you have plundered, and how much was lost to plunder. Expenses related to plundering is not included. I guess only half of this was actually profit, probably less. The rest has to cover the plunder expenses.
