That should be Joe Biden's new campaign slogan.
But in all seriousness, Dman you probably think I'm a socialist but look at me, I own multiple guns and I go hunting regularly.

Most Lee Harmless wrote:Nope, I just raised the point as to why you assume none of the 200 million guns in the USA are owned by socialists.
Not interested in debating nomenclature or the finer points of political philosophies with folk who think owning or using a firearm automatically comes with a given political affiliation.
Guns dont vote. People vote.

I don't care if you "doubt I hunt or own a gun". It doesn't matter. Whether or not you believe me, that doesn't change that it's true.
I'm not here to talk about my family problems. I'm here to talk about one thing.

BTW : the voice of gun-ownership, the NRA, manages to have some 5 million members, a figure that hasnt changed much over the last decade. So, even if all are die-hard cold-handers... that's only 25million out of the 400million guns out there. To put that in perspective, the combined LEA's in the USA manage to own about the same number of fire-arms.
Fact is a lot of lazy assumptions get made about gun-owners by all sides in the gun control debate. It gets a bit like communism... each sect/schism/splinter/fragment/faction/front claim to be the 'true' communists (and few can hate and despise a communist as much as one from a differing faction) but then combine their numbers when trying to throw their PR weight around.
Which is fine as those opposed to them lump them all together as well under a catch-all name 'socialist', 'communist', 'terrorist', 'antifa', 'what-ever name scares the voters this week'.
Most Lee Harmless wrote:There you go, assuming they will give a toss. I will certainly agree a significant number will run around screeching should that day ever come. As to how effective they would be in the face of LEA/NG/military firepower? Meh.
Piss and wind from a few braggarts dressed in camo and quoting the Turner Diaries mostly.
Even the NRA, the great big loud voice of the gun lobby gets to only sign up less than 7% of US gun owners : who is the real 'silent majority' out there? Cold-handers or shoulder-shruggers?

i get it you are a hater of the usa and as such you can say all you want but you or anyone else who tries to dictate the ownership of my guns will not meet violence at my door as i would no longer be at any registered address
