It probably will never be introduced to the US. I honestly believe that the US is going to fall apart or everyone in it is going to die before we get to that point. Of course as Danik said, what does owning a gun have to do with socialism?

I can see this thread starting to veer off-topic but I will say that both smoking and vaping have serious consequences on your lungs. Sure, vaping is a good idea if you want to quit smoking, but it is MORE addictive than cigarettes and comes with health consequences that smoking doesn't like popcorn lung.

and it is less addictive than cigarettes
why dont you do some research on cigs and see what addictive chemicals they introduce on top of the nicotine
there is even 0 nicotine juice if you dont want the addiction
any harm from vaping occurs when idiots smoke drugs and other things they shouldnt or they do not know battery safety

as for what guns have to do with socialism its pretty simple
socialism vs the second amendment users is a dreadful but still wonderful thought
show me a socialist regime that didnt disarm their population or strictly limit it

I thought the whole Cold War/Domino Principal thang was because socialist countries were arming their people, and other countries people, not taking their guns away. Kinda why the AK47 got to be the most produced weapon.. after all, some-one had to be carrying them...

Also not sure how being a socialist is so at odds with the US second amendment. Power grows from the barrel of a gun, after all.

Socialism isn't the same as communism.

So-cial-ism

a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

Com-mu-nism

a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

I'm sorry that you can't tell the difference between two things that are very much different. The main difference is that with communism everything is owned by the government and with socialism everything is owned by the community.

Of course I'm for neither full-on communism of socialism because that doesn't work out too well, but I am totally for some socialist concepts being applied into our system. Even public education is socialist.

Nope, I just raised the point as to why you assume none of the 200 million guns in the USA are owned by socialists.

Not interested in debating nomenclature or the finer points of political philosophies with folk who think owning or using a firearm automatically comes with a given political affiliation.
