Why would I march when I can fly? Black takes off until he is 4 yards in the air, and then promptly falls back to the ground It seems that my magical potion has worn off. The witch that sold it to me must have been lying. She said it would last 6 hours, but it barely lasted 3 days!

He turned his gaze on Black, studying him, them at the great doors of the cathedral, and more importantly, the large padlock on them. Black, could I trouble you for a pistol? I would use my own but rust has rendered it useless.

I don't see why not. Black pulls a copper-colored pistol from his robe and places it in a leather holster. You can keep it, but you owe me a favor.

He took it, throwing a rusted, gold-chased pistol with a pearl grip to the ground. The new pistol he cocked, firing right into the lock's keyhole. The lock broke, falling to the ground.

Nice shot. I could do better, but still pretty good. Black swings open the door which opens with a creek. He walks inside, his feet blowing up dust from the ground. A rat scurries past and runs out the doors. Filthy vermin! He takes a shot with his remaining pistol but misses. Arr. Onward.

Unbeknownst to the others in his party, a bronze garrote cord snaked out of his right hand, strangling the rat. Onwards, men. The ten men Dreadbolt had brought with him canned out, checking the dark corners and lighting the wall sconces as he descended down the stairs, easing the door to the chapel's undercroft.

Emily enters the cathedral and looks around sadly before turning to her dog and speaking.

Why'd it have to be a cathedral? This brings back a lot of sad memories.

As they enter the undercroft they find a massive chamber with 3 passages leading deeper in. Around a dozen undead stand around, who quickly begin approaching the group with weapons drawn. Emily quickly blasts one with fire burning it to ash as she smiles

Well this at least brings back nicer memories, and is a bit more fun.

Dreadbolt's men stepped forwards, slaughtering the other undead with ease. Then he stepped forward, examining the corpses. I recognize the magic used to reanimate these corpses.

Parrot is freaking out now. He flaps and flaps and flaps, try as he might but his claws just will not release their grip...He squawks loudly enough to create a screeching whirlwind that amplifies as it continually echoes throughout....This was moving all too fast for the bird and he wanted out ...now

There was a hiss, and metal clamps retracted from Parrot's claws, allowing the bird to fly away.
