This is why some people don't take climate change seriously. Of course the world will still exist! Of course humans will still exist. There is no-one serious claiming that the world will be "destroyed".
There is no point making such claims. It should be more than sufficient to point out the problems that really most likely ARE going to happen. Some probably no matter what, and some which may still be avoided if we are able to act. Overestimating a problem doesn't help. Nor is it necessary, considering how tremendous the problems that really ARE predicted to happen, will be.
