Wow!!!! This is the first thread line i have read in a long time that everyone is correct on IMO! Im not a Dr. but i did stay at a holiday inn express once.

1. Corona is very contagious and hurts seniors and those with serious conditions worse because it lowers the bodies immune response allowing secondary issues to snuff you out.
2. You should social distance if possible and why not wear a mask. I use hand sani when coming out of public places, cause why not.
3. Death rates were absolutely inflated for money grab reasons. You can tell by the NY flu numbers in april (no money for flu) were 12,000. One week later, increase in covid (money for covid) and flu state wide was 100. Hmmmm
4. We will find, as more get infected that the mortality rate is far lower than we thought it would be. All these colleges getting covid spikes with no hospitalization from these new cases. Dont forget, a different strain of covid is also one of the germies responsible for the common cold.
5. The mass closure of the country was initially to slow the spread, woohoo, it worked... the increased closure if to hurt the economy for election time. The only way to tell if that is true is if the virus and closure/economy is being used politically against the president since the 10th amendment says the closures are the states decision. So if its being used politicly, there's your reason, if its not being used politicly then its a health thing.

Flu kills the young and the old... I do have a theory, which is totally bad shart crazy. so china is socialist/communist, and people are living longer than normal. This strain of covid has been "tailored" and was accidentally released to the Chinese public who gets free medical. So if you were a communist state who is getting deep in debt, wondering how your going to support the rising middle class and take care of millions of elderly and people with severe existing conditions and had a virus made that targets elderly and those with severe existing conditions, what would you do?

I know sounds like something in a movie, but just a thought... not saying i believe my own theory, but just saying with their human rights record, i could see how simple it would be to "control spending".

Oh and why not keep an oil field or two to pay back what we spent? What are we the United States of UNICEF?

Correction: it isn't a theory since it hasn't been scientifically researched, it is more like a hypothesis. A theory would be like the theory of relativity which has tons of scientific evidence to back it, where a hypothesis is a scientific concept that has not yet been tested in a lab.

The virus being manufactured is not off the table, though it is unlikely.

Of coarse i do. But no, i would say it is a theory, the virus was infact manufactured because this stain does not happen in nature, the only question is was it released on purpose or not and if it was, why?
