Not gonna participate in the "discussion", but being from Norway, I though I should add some information.

The parliament member who nominated Trump is a rather controversial person. A kind of "loose cannon". And any member of the Norwegian Parliament can nominate anyone they want (they have nothing to do with actually selecting a winner, though). This should be seen as a political statement by one specific member of Parliament, rather than a general belief that Trump actually deserves the Nobel peace prize. In Norway, this is generally thought of most as very silly.

That's not true.

The flu has killed more people over all, but that's because it has existed for much, much longer. Coronavirus actually kills more people per capita than the flu. Also, they are different. The flu is dangerous mainly to people who are young or haven't developed their immune systems yet, COVID mainly kills older folks and people who are immunocompromised. The death rate for people above I think it's 78 is about the same as the death rate of a gunshot wound (about 1/10)

yearly deaths are around 330k for the flu how does any other factor make a difference

Nope.. its not an 'we are all going to die' pandemic. Only folk spouting that nonsense are idiots 'proving' its a hoax.
Covid-19 has a higher mortality rate than 'ordinary' flu's which still manage to kill a fair number each year. It's not as high as the 'Spanish Flu' of the post WW1 era but then medical advances help. It is still a threat due to overloading medical facilities and thus endangering other patients whose treatment gets delayed. Treatment requires costly equipment dedicated to that patient and bed space equivalent to that on an intensive care ward. Those kinds of beds get counted in dozens not hundreds.

It only takes a about a hundred new patients to bed block half of most hospitals available beds. Guess the ER rooms can send their patients home with an aspirin and a 'come back later' note.

Bubonic plague killed millions, due to advances the mortality rate is now low. But thats no reason to risk catching it. Death rate from bear attacks is on average one per year in N America. Thats no reason to climb in a cage with a grizzly.

What would the government have to gain from blowing up numbers? Also, there are many more cases of COVID than we can catch, because A. 40% of people show no symptoms and B. many people that do show symptoms don't get tested partially due to low access to testing.

Trump even wants to test less to make the US look better. If anything, the numbers are deflated. Sorry Mack, but it turns out that you don't know better than experts on a subject you know nothing about. What a surprise.
