i never used to think that way, but i have noticed in my short life that if a big celeb. walks outside with orange clown shoes on thier head, then all of its followers will think thats whats "in" so they all do the same. its a real shame imo. but its real true.

I've been to protests where some people got a little violent, but it's not the same as a riot. A riot would be if pretty much almost everyone was destroying things. I don't support the police tear gassing and pepper spraying protestors who aren't being violent as they have done so much. I don't agree with the riots as a solution, and would probably never do it myself, but not confirming the rioters doesn't make me a horrible person. I don't condemn them because I know that their hearts are in the right place, but I guess their fists aren't. And chances are that if people are rooting it is because they feel that it is the only thing they have left to do. That means that they have been through a lot of pain, so me condemning their actions would only make things worse. You are right Mel, there are always going to be good and bad people, and my ideas won't change that. But, if you look back in history, almost all functioning systems started with a crazy idea, one that was considered radical and stupid at the time. When the founding fathers created the US, it was almost unheard of to have a government with no religious affiliation. But they got through it. I apologize if I am making it sound like these changes would be easy, because they won't. But that doesn't prevent me from trying my best to make the world a truly better place.

I'm sorry but that's a bit stereotypical and saying teens do drugs because frankly that's bullshit. It is only common in rougher neighborhoods where a kids exposure to drugs might be very high because in my entire life I have heard of 1 kid who did drugs and saw about 5 kids smoking cigarettes in my entire life out of the couple of thousand kids I have met. In fact drug use has gone down overall and only vaping has gone up.

Oh, I'm sure the folks who killed innocent people, ruined folks livelhoods and various other atrocities have a wonderful and pure heart, and are just angry. No. Get outta here with that absolute garbage. If you are in pain, or suffering, or upset, that does NOT give you the right, to hurt anyone, especially when the people you are hurting had nothing to do with your suffering. To even suggest that these people who are killing innocent people, destroying people's livelhoods have their heart in the right place, is absolutely disgusting.

Once again, children, have died in these riots. Folks have had their livlehoods destroyed, so they can no longer feed or provide for their families. To try to justify that, is horrid. There are ways to deal with your anger, and suffering that are productive and good. Rioting and hurting and killing innocent people is not one of them.

Hell, going by your absolute asinine logic, what's to stop someone from saying "well hitler was just a person who suffered, and he thought he was doing a good thing" no. You don't defend hitler because even if he suffered in his life, or "thought" he was doing the right thing, that doesn't magically justify killing and hurting innocent people. Same with these rioters. Innocent people are dying, businesses are being ruined, so don't try to justify that as having their heart in the right place. They don't. They are angry, and ruining people's lives because of that anger.

Also, don't try to compare your ideas with those of the founding fathers. While it's true what they did was unheard of, these were wise, and intelligent men, who thoroughly discussed and researched things before implementing ideas. They didn't just think of their idea in a day, and immediately propose it. They discussed it heavily and thought things through. Same with most great ideas and major changes. Here's a tip for you you should take before you go and try spouting your asinine logic and ideas. Try to actually think about what problems it might make and cause. It seems like you just fixate on what it would fix or help. That's bad logic.

Now this might sound crazy but in a way I think WW2 was kinda a good thing because the laws of war set in international law in WW1 were expanded on, civilians are now kinda protected by international law, Israel was created to keep Jews safe, Nuremburg code was made and now the UN is more effective than the league of nations.

I admit that like with many wars, some good did come out of it. That doesn't make it a good thing it happened. Take the Nazi human experiments. A lot was learned by what they did, though it doesn't justify the fact that their experiments were inhumane and evil.
