But back to the question you just tried to dodge, I'll ask it again. Do you truly believe that non citizens being paid below minimum wage to be a good thing? That it's justified in some way? It's literally taking advantage of a person who doesn't have the governments protection, to save money. It's a vile thing to do.

Also i like to read news rather than accept what is pushed on me by TV media.

Associated press and Reuters, tend to present full un cherry picked news. With fairly low bias. I then supplement with perspectives of news organizations that lean mildly to the left and mildly to the right.
Say perhaps new york times and wall street journal respectively.

Once you get to the bias extent of fox new or cnn you are no longer getting news, you are getting spin in my opinion.


I used to be independent, and supported the best candidate, or collective pair of canidates for p/vp. No matter what party. The democratic party has in my opinion become a organized machine run by a few that brainwashes the nation with empty promises to collect their votes.

I will not vote for any of their candidates unless they allow someone who has not been purchased by lobbiests to progress forward in their party. Logical, function social welfare programs that actually work in stead of being a free one time handout for your vote would be huge.

Im not enamored with the republican party either.
They lost their way a long while back.
They also are guilty of pandering to lobbiests. However with lack of a legitimate third party option, they will get my vote. Unless they run someone i cannot support, then i will not bother to vote or vote for the independent if one is running.

That said, i supported trump and i still support trump.
He is the closest thing to an independent non party line president i have seen since i was able to vote.

under Bush ii and Obama my small handcrafted goods company got hammered by bad ecomonic policy and low tarrifs on imports. In the first few years of trump, import tarifs and restrictions suddenly made my buisness viable again.

Ability to compete in the market place thus being able to hire skilled workers and pay them decent wages is better than social programs that makes it more profitable for them to sit at home and collect unemployment. By this i am not calling people lazy system feeding moochers. Athought some are just exactly that.
Legitimately if your job does not pay enough to cover the cost of a parents childcare, they cannot afford to take some jobs that are available and unemployment is the only real option. When they do find a decent paying job they may then be subject to garnishments back to unemployment. Meaning if you take the job you still cant afford daycare. Hopefully you realize this before your apllication is accepted. If that happends your totally screwed because you willget kicked off unemployment and need to figure out how to take tare of your kids while working a full time job. Since wages minus garnishments =equal less than cost of daycare its better stay on benefits. Once you are in this system its pretty damn hard to get back out. So now you are going to have to vote democrat if you are smart so the other guys wont cut back your benefits. And this is just one example of the absurdity of our social welfare programs.

I am with you Will. I am an independent as well and always voted the person over party. However with the intolerance, bigotry, hippocracy, Marxism, flat out lies, rioting, looting, cancel culturing and anti American rederick, I cant see my self voting in a democrat for anything out of fear they will have more numbers.

And before someone calls me out on the lefts bigotry, the definition of a bigot is "a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions".

It blows my mind what they have become. So many of them think they are superior in thought and virtue signaling. On and on with the same bullshit ideas... her is a news flash... if it were that easy or good for everyone, we would already have or be doing it. Some of the things that are coming from the dems are actually scary to anyone who thinks deeper than the right now and with any kind of logic.

Really, I'm not trying to dodge questions. I'm sorry if it seems that way. I'm getting so many responses it's hard to keep up with all of them. That's why I've decided that this will be my last post on this thread. I'm still open to political debate, just not in a format where I am outnumbered so greatly. If you guys ever want to talk politics with me, feel free to send me an in-game message. It's just too hard to keep up with all the responses and cover every point made. Sorry for any confusion/frustration

Anyway, we all have different opinions, and I really haven't seemed to change anyone's mind and certainly no one has changed mine, so this isn't very productive. However, as I said above, I'm still open to debate. No, I'm not only saying this to slip away from answering questions and responding, but just because of all the pressure.
