Same I.P. Address

Long ago, it was proper, that any accounts having the same I.P. address mailed administration to notify that more than one pirate was playing from same location. Many argued about cheating and dual accounts. It was posted that those sharing I.P. addresses could not send presents, credits, or ships to each other as it would be to easy to cheat that way. What has happened to this policy? Has it changed? Is anything being done to police accounts from same I.P. address? I suspect foul play...shocking I know!

I think he means our friendly neighborhood spies, they seem to always help the same people, just my opinion. However it won't save them, it just means I don't tell my plans to as many people.

Regarding the policy you refer to, I don't remember anything like this ever being stated. All game rules are described here: http://www.piratesglory.com/rules.php
Generally, same ip address is a bad way to detect a multiplayer. We have better ways to do so.

At some point in the future, we will finish a system where multi-play will not be beneficial at automatic restrictions.

Finally,for multiplay cases, all involved accounts will be banned.
