I would not mind if Kiri got Baramas Back if TK so desired, but it would have to be after TK was able to recoup their losses. I wouldn't mind rejuvenating Kiri if if anyone saw fit, it was a great trading nation after all.

And if their losses came from the last 24 hrs then the original statement of them taking it for compensation is erroneous and a lie.

None of those losses can be counted. They initiated an action and those are the cost of war.

Lost 1.3 billion alone..... well buckle up buttercup. Knowing the people on both sides of this as I do.... loses will easily go beyond 10 times that amount. And that may only be in port influence. Imagine when the Black deaths start flying in ports on both sides. 2.1 billion population can be wiped by a single player in a very short time. Less than 24 hours. Vane has proven that a few times just since I have been playing.

Already... 1.3 billion would take 76 days to recoupr if Baramas stays in the hands of TK.... and that is just what was lost in one day.

I said it in the first post. Already both sides are beyond what a single port can pay back.

The "recoup losses" went out the window within the first hour this started. It was a lie to begin with anyway.

Aye. I never claimed egos were a bad thing, just said I wish it would be admitted instead of claims of recouping some perceived investment that may or may not have happened nearly two years and 4 nations ago.

Good sir you know as well as I that the second hostile actions were initiated, the chance of ever recouping an investment were out the window. There be no profit to be had in such an actions especially with the people you took that action against.

The second this started, the hope of recouping anything was gone.

But let's go with 1.3 Billion maxed port 2.147 billion produces 17.464 million per day in tax revenue/

(2,147,000,000 * .6 * 5)/365

1,300,000,000/17,464,000= 75 days to break even just on what was lost already in one day.

Let say this craziness goes until Monday reset. (3 days) Which knowing a bit about the people on this side would be easy.

75 x 4(yesterday plus 3 more)=300 days.

and that is only if by some miracle Baramas remains a maxed port and no TI's need to be cast.

So 300 days to just recover what has been and will be lost.

Now... let's talk about voodoo other than CDs.

This will end up involving an all of the above scenario as far as where this goes.

Oh and just to trip your trigger abit more If in fact my estimate of over 2 billion is more accurate than the 1.3 billion

2 billion / 14.464 mill =138 days x 4 = 552 days to recoup what has been wasted already.

SHM you are a banker. Would you loan that much money to someone knowing that you maybe had a 25% chance of breaking even in 456 days if everything went perfectly.

Seriously..... this is about the dumbest action ever when the claim was to "recoup investment" in Baramas.

Most smart bankers and creditors write it off. Here in the US there is even a tax deduction available to businesses for such actions. It is called a "bad debt" expense.

In fact the only people to come out ahead on this will be those selling port cards in the market. And imagine that.... the prices of the cards listed right before this started, spikes a bit. Almost like someone or some group, who makes a lot of coin trading cards, almst as if they were tipped off this was going to happen.

Aye well I happen to have been included in the talks between Will and Astra all along the way. Will came to me about it because he knew of my interests and investment in Baramas. I know the IoM side as explained is accurate.

To say "Only the King knew the details...." is inaccurate. In fact even El Draque emailed me during the negotiations inquiring about the state of UK. Astra emailed me as well as Will.

DId IoM want another port.... ABSOLUTELY. What nation wouldn't. Will went about it with complete honor Keeping all parties informed along the way. As far as the El Draque incident....he even admitted he had not been online. After it became obvious he was active I reached out to him with offer to help him rebuild as did others.
