Due to this news being about ourselves, we will try to make this article as short as possible. However we have some news for you. Here at Avonmora Daily we have managed to employ one of our previous employees. Which was the person that conducted the Interviews. So expect interviews with a few people in the upcoming weeks.

Pirates back in black?
Sad news has hit the merchants of Avonmora in the past few days, which is the pirates have come back once more! Some of the old ones are coming back, yet some new aspiring pirates have come to light? Could this be an end to a peaceful era? Who knows!
The reason why Avonmora Daily says this is in the past few days, multiple merchants have been lit up such as: Tonye, Jaw, Dark Eve, Vag Smasher, Caladan, Redbard and Slovich! Reports say some of these targets have even lost ships to these raids! After bribing, I mean talking to a few governors of selected ports they gave us a few names of who these pirates actually were. (You may recognize some of these names...) Shadowood, Feniks, JuicyPotato, Banger, Admiral Nelson and William One eye. Rumours go, they are actually working together in some raids to steal some ships or at least that is what port battles suggest!
What is going to happen in the upcoming weeks? Is this just a few days of piracy or are Merchants in for a bloody time? Who knows! But make sure you find out, here first! Not like you have any other news to go to, at the moment!
Shadowood showing signs of getting better?
I know, I know... Another article about that Shadowood fellow, however lads. If you stop complaining for one second I can tell you about an amazing achievement he has managed to make quite recently.
It appeared on newspapers, on the global events hell even in St.Martins times! That Shadowood, has managed to plunder a total of 1,000 ships! Which is another milestone only few players would be able to make in their lifetime! The Top 10 Ships Plundered backs this proof up even more! According to Shadowood himself, he declared the Caladan raid he was a part of tied in with this. Stealing a few Ships of the Line! What a way to get an achievement if I must say!
Will Shadowood further prove how good is he in the upcoming months, or will he now go downhill? Only one way to find out. Which is...

Credit Prices Sour, demand increases!
If you look on the Credit Market today, you can clearly seen an incline of the price of Credits, it has gone from 225,000 gold coins 4 days ago to 261,000 gold coins, nearly a 40,000 gold coins increase!
To those that say 40,000 gold coins is not much. We will do some math. Lets say you want 50 credits, and before they were at the price of 225,000 gold coins. It would cost 11,250,000 gold coins. However with the price being 261,000 gold coins it now costs 13,050,000 gold coins. An additional 1.7 Million gold coins!
Now they are many speculations to why this could be, when asking citizens of Avonmora we get mixed answers... Some declare "Its those bloody pirates raising the price of credits! For the Voodoo they need to continue raiding!" Others state its just the market at the moment, there is more people in Avonmora then ever before - Thus the supply goes up, and greedy merchants want more and more.
This of course, has forced the price of credits in banks to go up so the bankers ensure they are not getting 'robbed' out of an additional 40,000 per credit. Will Credit Prices just go up, stay where they are or decrease?
Caladan looses ships?
It was reported to us two days ago that Caladan, placed in the guild T'zak Ryan [MERC]. Has lost several capital ships, not lost in the sense of lost at sea, or missing. But stolen, to no other than pirates. Which was a rarity in the past few months in Avonmora.
These battles occured in multiple ports, for Caladan has always been one to spread his fleets about; a wise strategy however it did noit help, much. Such ports are: Baramas, Chalkos, New Land, Akrotiri, Tortuga, Neapolis and Hannes. The pirates behind his downfall was a few members of VUDU including: Shadowood, William One Eye, Banger, dman, Feniks and Admiral Nelson. However rumours say the raid was started by none other than the pirate Juicy Potato.
No one knows how many Ships of Caladans were exactly lost to the pirates at hand, however... It is said from his 'danger' in some of the ports, they were able to make off with 5 fleets consisting of Ship of the Lines and Large Frigates.
When we asked Caladan, what he thought of this event... With a dark menacing look in his eye, one that had a pure lust for revenge. "I can't wait to get my ships back." Certainly powerful words, us at Avonmora Daily think.
Is this just the start of what ships are going to be lost by some of these pirates, or was this there last hoorah as they set sail into the sunset? Who knows, find out here though!
