I like a lot of cartoons and some anime. My hero academia, steven universe, craig of the creek, are some of the main ones im watching now, a few of my old favorites in the past involve things like samurai jack, detective conan, elfen lied(very gory and very depressing at times, do not recommend it if your sensitive or young.)

I go on 1 - 3 month anime binge each year, rewatching old favourites or following new animes.

But, too much anime, too little time.

I know right? There's a anime for almost anything these days. Cooking, basketball, volleyball, tanks turning into girls, etc.

I feel this way about shows I want to see in general. Too many good suggestions come my way, and unless i become exceptionally wealthy and decide to devote my newfound wealth to sitting in front of the screen every day, i'll never see everything i want. I'll also never finish all the books on my read list unless i live several hundred extra years.
Well. I was on my way to this gay gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled, when I suddenly thought,
“Gosh. The Third Reich’s a bit rubbish. I think I’ll kill the Führer.” Who’s with me?

the worst part is, even if one became immortal with no need to ever sleep, eat, or drink again, and spent all their time watching shows or reading books they would never finish it all-new things come out faster then one can keep up. By the time you finish one years worth of content, a hundred more years of new stuff comes out. The only way to ever finish it all is if all of humanity ended but you, stopping all new content, and you had immortality. Even then it would take countless ages to finish it all.

Edit-and forgot to mention that even then, once you do finish it all you hit a whole new problem-there will never be anything new ever again, so your stuck for eternity with reruns and rereading the same books.

Best anime of all time i believe Highschool DxD...Most people think its pervy account of all the nudity...But it has one of the most deep storylines ever

The only way I've found thus far to even keep myself in the vicinity of sanity is to pick and choose carefully what shows I'm going to keep up on and pay close attention to. Then there's the B List, which are usually something on Amazon or Netflix i can watch at my own pace, binge on if needed, and mostly get played in the background when i'm cleaning, on the computer, or working on one of my hobbies. And even those get beat out by my wanting to play music instead some of the time.

Thanks to you all for participating in my first thread - new girl, wasn't sure anyone would be interested in geeking out with me. Cheers, mateys! :respect

i like the sci-fi but there has not been much about recently, the common wisdom seems to be that the habit of downloading these things instead of watching on the telly box means it is difficult to make the money back and thus hard to get the funding for new projects.

these days i mainly watch comedy that i find on youtube, some to look out for include;
8 out of 10 cats does countdown, (comedy panel show based on a british institution)
15 stories high, (sean lock at his deadpan best)
plebs (immature but original),
the crystal maze (richard ayoade)
bottom live (proper filth)

and the one not to be missed is THE DETECTORISTS, my personal favourite from recent years, has Mackenzie Crook and Toby Jones searching for treasure in rural england, it is full of subtle humour and pop culture references. a review i read of this said "if you dont like the detectorist then we cannot be friends."
I don't know, it seems to me if they ain't got you one way they got you another,
So what's the answer? that's what I keep asking myself, what's it all about?
Know what l mean?
