Actually I am normie in this case because I have wife and a child she likes manga/anime as much as I although she prefers anime little bit more than manga because she likes colors.

Normies can't understand beauty of both manga and anime it trully is art. Well mangas are more art than anime these days because our culture is huge and it became gold mine for those whom know how to use it.

From the way I read it, He wasn't insulting you personally, he was stating his opinion. He stated anime is trash. He did not say anime is trash and because you like it you are trash also. He even qualified it so it would not offend. "You can like it if you want, but to me, it's trash."

I took that as completely opposite to a personal insult to you.

Just because I express my dislike for something doesn't mean I hate those who like it, the "weeb" comments were just a joke. when it comes to live action movies, marvel just stomps DC at the moment, but I do think that the DC animated movies are still really amazing. I am looking forward to that new one death of superman, and hope its as good if not better then the superman doomsday movie. Oh and I loved superman vs the elite 4. I like anime and manga pretty well too, right now really loving my hero academia.

If you are talking about comic books and graphic novels. DC. DC Comics are sort of dark and sinister which works very well for comics and graphic novels. That doesn't always translate well into movies.


As for Japanimation, it depends. Some of it can be really good, some of it sucks, and then there is the really weird stuff like Hentai.

to be fair that's true for pretty much everything. From Disney films to Nintendo games, to Dc comics, everything has its good, bad, and weird. Some just hit gold more often then others.

Though I do admit, Japanimation has more weird stuff then most other things I can think of. But weird isn't bad, just look at weird al.

GO MARVEL! No offense to DC lovers but they kind of messed up the movies like for Batman vs superman we didn't know Robin died and they should have explained better. Marvel has done many individual hero movies e.g black panther so you can kind of understand better. My favourite movie is black panther because it has many female lead actors/supporting actors and it's mostly got black people. ( I don't mean to be racist. I just couldn't think of another way to say it.) And then infinity war because thanos just bashes up the avengers.
