Agnar takes a small hatchet from his belt and chops a very small piece of the black material off.

Hmm, weird to chop. I don't hope this is too visible? What do you guys think?

Brian shrugs as he says to Agnar.

This might not be very pastor like to say but honestly-to hell with her and this ship. If she didn't want this ship being at risk she should have kept a lookout or not came here at all. I think we nearly got this door open. It's starting to budge.

Agnar laughs briefly
That be true. Want to borrow my hatchet? It's a must have tool for situations like this, heh.

Brian thinks for a moment before shaking his head.

Eh, better not. A small piece of her hull and sail is one thing, but she might actually get upset if we chopped open a door on her ship. And really thinking about it, best not to anger her just yet. Besides nearly got it open.

The priest steps forward, towering over everyone else.

Here, lemme.

He throws his weight against the door and it cracks open

Brian and Carl manage to force it open with the help of the priest. Carl goes in keeping an eye out, with Brian close behind. The door leads to a fairly interesting hallway. Large beautiful crystals the line the hall, leading to another door at the end simply labelled Captain's quarters-keep out. The walls are made of more of that strange squishy substance. Some sort of pipe system seems to run along the inside, and it looks like a fluid is moving in the pipes. Carl thinks about smashing one open to see what the liquid is, but decides against it. He inspects the crystals instead. They seem to be firmly attached into the walls, and emit a soft light illuminating the room. Brian gets a bad feeling in his gut.

Be careful, I got a bad feeling. Let's try to open the captain's door and get out fast.

Brian and Carl walk carefully to the door, and examine it, it looks firmly locked and shut.

Agnar walks up behind Carl and Brian while looking at the crystals

We could try to get a crystal as well. Anyways, if she knows magic, there might be magic traps set up... Maybe ones, we can't even prepare for.

The priest inspects the lock.

This lock, it's a crystal lock. It requires a certain type of crystal to touch it and the lock will click open. If you break it, something nasty will get you

Brian and Carl look around, when suddenly a deep voice echoes all around the room.

You people are not Veera. You need to leave now. Neither I nor Veera will be held responsible for any injuries or deaths you suffer if you linger.

Carl looks around trying to find who is speaking, but he can't see anyone around. Brian grabs his pistol and sword and readies himself while looking over to the others.

I'm willing to stay and keep looking if you lot are.
