The golem shakes its head.

He might be good at handling magic, but my cavern is filled with traps that are both magical and not-if he goes down in here, he will die without me or a golem guiding him. Carl or Brian know the way too, so if worse comes to worse have one of them guide him. But Veera is no threat to me in my own tower. Regardless I am going to speak with her now.

The golem stops talking and starts heading back to working on construction of the fort. Oggie shouts from nearby.

Oy, everyone, to anyone who isn't on duty come by my tavern for some drinks. First rounds on the house.

Oggie heads back into his tavern and starts serving up mugs of rum and food. Carl and Brian both start heading to the tavern. Brian calls to Jack and Agnar and Father O'Connor.

You 3 want to go and get some rum? Thank the lord despite being a pastor I can still enjoy a nice drink from time to time.

[Jack Teach]

The priest's face lightens up and jack grins. The priest speaks with an Irish accent

Aye, but be moderate now.

Jack and the priest walk into the tavern.

Agnar leaves the work on the ship to his crew and follows up

Oggie serves everyone a large mug of rum, and some food. Carl nods to Agner.

Must have been one hell of a storm to cause so much damage. What do you intend to do once your ship is fixed? We can give you directions to some other ports if you need them.

All honesty, I got no idea. Probably look for hire somewhere. Not important what, I made quite a fortune in the north, just something you know?

[Meliva]

Brian nods.

Well, I can't make any promises but Emily might want to hire you men to collect stuff she may need from other ports, or hell we could use some men to start up some farms on the island or go fishing. Or if nothing else, I can point you to someone who can give you fellas work if you decide to leave. Ellen and I made lots of friends and did lots of favors for folks, so I got some pretty good connections.

Agnar smiles to himself
Hmm, a peaceful farmer or fishers life ain't for me. I like the sound of my cannon's shredding the hull of another ship. But we'll see, as said, no plans yet. However, I'd like to repay the hospitality you've shown me.
