III. Pirates to ban trade in St. Martins

In a sudden move St. Martins, a port known for its cheap tool production and close proximity to several rare commodity ports, has fallen into the hands of pirates. With a quick move by Feniks, formerly a citizen of St. Kitts and some collaboration with the guild PIRAT, St. Martins was overrun by plundering thieves and scoundrels. They acted against the population with little mercy at all, eliminating 300 million people at the edge of their swords and ends of their pistols. Those that remain were able to escape inland in hopes to find passage elsewhere, however the pirates seem eager to hunt them down and leave no man standing, save one.

This one man left standing, was given a rolled up letter and instructed to take a small fishing vessel and row his *** to Vaasbrurg. Once there he was to nail it to the Governors door and ne'er look back on St. Martins again.

Attention all Merchants, Traders, and other non-free folk!

Pirates have claimed St. Martins, this ye know by now. What ye cant know is what is to come. We be intending to keep this here land clean of your laws, rules, taxes, and other civilized things. Effective right this second!... errrr after we party and drink ourselves into a glorious stupor.. uh tomorrow then savvy...? Effective tomorrow, all trade in and out of this here port be subject to pirate tax and hostility. Skirmishes and hostile locals will target your docking fleets and seize their cargo an' ships. If ye not be a pirate, ye won't be privy to parley or any other type of protection. The port of St. Martins will be blockaded by the black and ye not be welcome!

Signed,
The Pirate Nation

Well either way good luck in your endeavor. This should bring some excitement to the game while we wait for the draft.

You know in a funny sort of way you solved an issue for those of us in St. Kitts. We didn't want that port but were unsure of what to do with it. Didn't know who to gift it too. Guess it was fate you came along when ya did. think the sea gods are on your side today :P
