Also, consecutive days with the Black Flag... does that take into account players who are flying the flag now... or at the start of the release of Flagship?

CJ, a question regarding this

-The Flagship receives a name that cannot be changed later.


We, the Players, get to name our own Flagship correct? After which, it cannot be renamed?

Last, will it be like Players names which cannot be duplicated. For instance, Charles Vane and myself could not both have a Flagship name "Wet Dreams"?

I was re-reading this post and would like to contest the above mentioned trait. If a pirate invests a great deal of time into his Flagship and life takes hold to the point they must take a break from the game, one should be able to stow their ship for the day they return. It would be awful to leave for 2-3 weeks and return to your Flagship being taken during absence.

Maybe make flagship docking a credit sinker? Say 25-50 credits to dock in "dry dock" Immediately becomes active again once person logs back in.

I think the concern is more hit and run tactics... which is unfortunate however I see the point.

I would go more for a time limiter. "After docking the flagship it cannot be docked again for 15 days after it has been undocked."

This will limit exploitation and allow for planned absences.

I agree some limits and compromise should be put on this to prevent the "hit and run", there should be a cost of some kind to dock a flagship. Maybe a time limit as you say.

Once docked it cannot be unlocked for 7 days and once unlocked it can not be docked again for 15. That seems fair on both sides.
