Offensive voodoo is what hurts the player directly, in my mind - What the voodoo was built to do.

IE
Fugitive of Justice is offensive.
Mindbar was made as defensive, but turned to offensive by Skyhawk as well.

foj, hn, sabotage, assassin, swarm, pirate tales, public relationships, fire ship, call the kraken and levi, antagonize, these are offensive voodoos.

most of the enchantement voodoos cant be called directly as an offensive because you can use them for defensive purpose too. i wrote this message because i heard you need an expert:D

I tried to make the list. Then every single player tried to over complicate it then I gave up. The list is impossible, no one wants to even try to compromise.

Banger - the best advice is to join a guild - as you can tell from the thread there are many different opinions in Avonmora - on almost all topics - joining a guild will get you a more personal response and advice that is more or less keeping you on the same path

the guild is somewhat irrelevant at the beginning stages - I would try to pick one that has a fair number of members and with different amounts of time spent in the game (look to their player numbers - the lower the number the longer they have been in) to ensure there is some diversity

over time you may decide your style doesnt mesh well (too passive, too aggressive etc) with the guild and you can shop around to other guilds but you cant know that yet

but having a place to turn with the myriad of questions you will face in your first few weeks is what is most important
