Any game related discussion can take place here. Examples: Discuss about how bad the merchant rates have been lately, how rich you have became by following this specific strategy which now needs to stop etc etc

In our book, teamwork is always better. After all, this comes now and it is not random. Just like bank reduced turns for various actions; they came once we had at least 6 banks beyond level 15 and at the very least, significant time since their release has passed. Similarly, we are doing it now that there are many players that cooperate. Guilds that cooperate.

If we want to promote something more than anything else, are battles conducted by many players in the same time. We are a massively multiplayer game after all. (One of the few that still hold their massively nature and have enough players involved in this; all modern games do not allow anyone to go against that many players in the same time. They usually separate their active lists in groups/divisions of 100 max. So, we need to take advantage of this somehow)

To respond even better to William One eye, we got to protect our players from repetitive and irritating gameplay as well. There are players who have not earned a single turn for years, just because they run on a big, amassed hand. That's not exciting at all.

Also, if you really are out to take avenge on your own, you can still do it. You will just not be able to repeat it in short time.

I can see all that, CJ : but none of it convinces me that bringing out my big ships is a worthwhile risk, just to butt heads with equally big ships and swap the same plunder back and forth. But then, I have always enjoyed opportunistic ship-stealing as part of the fun of the game and will miss it greatly. Neither do I see owning 400 ships as being a worthwhile endeavor : farming or being a farm dont float my big boats either. So, I'll sit in my semi-retired corner and mess about with things that interest me or tweak my curiosity.

Oh, and anyone who upsets me can expect to start losing levels off their top ships. I'm not that retired.

Where is that pencil anyway... Thats always one that catches my eye...

That's not to make you pull your warships out. We are not there yet. :))

Thanks for the explanations CJ. This is just one more mechanic that we will need to include in our planning of raids.

1.8.199: Remodel is now also available through presents.

I was unaware that some voodoo are not included in the giving of presents. Is there a list of what is and what is not included?

It may be felt like limiting the turns are a major setback.
All players were free to gain turns to achieve a goal.

Now, it's not possible unless teaming up. It may be that the decision
is counter productive.

If the tactics of open turns are utilized, nothing
says that it can't be turned against the agressor.

So it may come as a major -1. Now, there is a slight
chance for an unholy companionship to grow and else
the Avonmora will come to a point where it's so
stabilized that it becomes stagnant.
