Since you only gain cp while flying the black flag, Shadowood, I think your question is moot.

I would like to suggest, well recommend, Vane's suggestion of "If you capture a Flag Ship" you get a special reward and title of "Pirate Hunter"
I don't fear death. I look forward to it with great anticipation. For then I will met God face to face and let him know that I stole his Man of War!!!

How one gets CP points... I think it should be based on Battles or Quatermaster Most Battle Marks.. To make the ship truly your own instead of easy achievements like fame which can be done with Pirate Tales one has to fight for it.
