Wales needs more citizens

Until recently, Building up Tzogos in the name of Wales has been a plan for me and a priority for others. I have begun taking an active role in the effort and will attempt to be the example to follow. I will not expect anyone to invest as much in the port as I will but I will hope that between the rest of the Wales community, my influence will never be more than half of our total influence in Tzogos. I hope that you will support the efforts in Tzogos and occasionally check on Tortuga to see if it needs any attention from us. I have asked that you build yourselves up and have tried to do what I could to support you. Now I ask that you give back to your nation. Tzogos should be ours. It can be ours and it will be ours. I just want to know that you care enough to help me make it so. Thank you all for doing what you can. You've been good to your nation so far and with our combined support of the nation's goals and best interests, the nation will help to make things good for you.

I hate to say it but there's a Wales player who wishes to use voodoo on the player who has done the most for the nation. The voodoo would hurt the goals of Wales in the long run. It has become obvious who that player is. Personal matters have been the fuel for the fire of that player and I believe that it is time to remove that player from the nation. It is a shame that it has come to this and a greater shame that there is no recourse for this problem at this time. If these traitorous acts continue then as soon as this player can be removed from the nation, it will be done. I would strongly suggest that the player in question find a new nation to become part of rather than casting voodoo against your king. I worked hard to get the citizens of Wales to be more profitable and to give them a chance to improve that profitability. If you have a personal grudge against me, deal with it in a personal way. Don't interfere with the efforts I make to ensure the security of our nation. Maturity is not all that hard to possess. Just throw of your childish ways and all that is left is maturity. Okay, maybe some intelligence or stupidity, laziness or initiative, beauty or ugliness.... Maybe you get the point. Anyway, just because we don't get along is no reason to take it out on the rest of the group. Have enough sense to see the potential harm for what it really is.

SGT Blue was the first to choose Falkland Islands- he chose to play it solo and gain influence by himself and held almost every port. You chose to make a recruiting thread and convince people to follow you. Take a look at New Zealand's influence- it's even more extreme. You're right New Zealand and Falkland Islands don't have teamwork and communication regarding port influence- we chose to not care about that. But calling into question our "mutual respect"... that was unnecessary.

What next? I will continue to build influence in Tzogos and Tortuga as needed, but are we looking for another port? "Market forces" have made Tortuga and Tzogos less desirable that they once were, and it's not the default route for all merchants. Are we ready to extend our reach?

Under the current system, there is no good way for a merchant nation to benefit from controlling ports unless that nation has players who can and will be online at the crucial moment to cast Fertile Lands on a port they control. I've suggested a better way to deal with production but it isn't implemented and is not part of a popular enough topic to get enough attention. I guess we're all just out of luck unless we can designate specific ports to specific citizens and those players make sure they cast the voodoo at just the right moment. I'm a truck driver so my schedule is not consistent. I also suggested nation pages having something like a guild where we can discus strategies. That isn't implemented so again., so sorry, out of my hands. I tried hard, gave all I could and I guess it's time for me to let you guys show whether you'll give enough to help yourselves. If you do, the forums is the right place to give your support to your nation. Make a difference in the game that gives a strong, unified nation the chance it deserves and help eliminate the imbalance that the voodoo brings to the game.

This is the suggestion I added to a production discussion topic. If you want to lend support or modifications to it then please continue promoting the topic to players that you know. That should also be how you should deal with any forum topic that you find important. If the national council meetings ever start taking place or we can post significant new to the nations page then I'll promote it there. Again, I did what I could. I gathered support, promoted the nation, built up the ports and now I have little more I can help with unless I'm parked and can get online at the right time and cast the voodoo on two ports simultaneously so that the rest of you don't have to. Not likely. It will be a team effort or we'll fail.
