How exactly your account is taking up space?
An account takes no space at your device, it only takes space at our end.
Regarding our policy now;
-Characters that have made some considerable progress are not removed from the game. The rest, after some time of inactivity (30 days I think), are automatically removed.
-The reason is that every character is a roleplay element of the game. We cannot simply remove such elements as the game becomes poorer. In both the roleplay aspect but also in the economy aspect.
Now, besides your character you also get a game account. What makes this account yours, is essentially your email (or any other login method you use). By changing your email to a false one, you have just made something equal to deletion.
Although the best practice would simply to enter the Notification center (
http://s2.piratesglory.com/?page=profil ... ifications ) and turn off notifications. You may get 1 email at some point (we have sent about 3 in 8 years of operation) which will come with an unsubscribe link that will save you from any future emails from the game.
If you want my personal opinion though, deletion is a bad decision. The game is simply too great to abandon it. Moreover, since you managed to play it at the first place, you may be interested to play again in the future so it is always better to start from your previous point. But okay, not everyone has the same taste.
