honestly the thing I love most about math is, unlike a crap ton of other subjects, it doesn't really change. take history, history doesn't change exactly, but as time goes on more and more crap happens so there's more to learn. then there's language, which changes over time, and new words are also added, medicine advances and it changes, technology advances and changes, but math, once you learn math, that's it, because math doesn't really change. 100000 years ago 2+2=4. today 2+2=4, and I'm willing to bet 50 barrels of rum that 100000 years into the future, 2+2 will STILL equal 4.

unless 2 + 2 is actually 1 because in a modulo 3 scenario, 2+1 would revert to 0 and 2+2 to 1. thanks google!
