The Captain and the female Cadet.

Two years ago there was a German captain in command of the great German sailing-ship Gorch Fock. The Gorch Fock is a training-ship for young German Navy cadets. A pretty young female cadet was also on board of this officer-training ship. The captain was very fond of this cadet-girl and he wanted to be engaged to her. But the girl had no intention to make friendship with this elderly captain. The captain was therefore very angry and raged by this refusion of his love to his female cadet. As her commander he ordered her to climb to the top of the ship's sailing-rig in an South American harbour. The girl tryed to execute the order of her captain, but lost the hold on the main sailing-stick and fell down to the ship-deck from a height of 10 m. She crashed on the ship-deck and died suddenly. This fatal accident was reported to the German admirality with all criminal circumstances caused by the captain. An German admiral came then to the Gorch Fock and dismissed the captain with dishonor and the shipcommand was given to a new captain.
