The change below is put on hold:

5.Voodoo card tweak
Affected Card: Thieving Magpie
Tweak: Steal a random voodoo card from target player will become:
Steal target voodoo card from target player.
Turns Needed will become 5 instead of 3.


We accept the player arguments and agree with them. We also had the same concerns when we released the card and we were mostly waiting for a negative feedback to reaffirm. Nonetheless, this may need Flip Coin attribute OR a new type of defense.

Also, there are threads in General Discussion and Game Suggestions with ideas on design phase which could use your feedback.

Just Implemented:

6.Minor voodoo card tweaks
Crystal Ball: 3 Turns instead of 1
Enlightened Vision: 3 Turns instead of 2
Trade Master: 3 Turns instead of 1
Human Rights: 3 turns instead of 8
Buried Treasure: 2000 Gold instead of 1000

Name: Transport Immigrants
Target Type: Port
Rarity: Common
Turns Needed: 8
Description:
Target port population is increased by 5%


(We will implement the rest 3 new cards, by 1 per day)

so does port population do anything at this point? or is this a card ppl will stockpile until it becomes useful?

It affects a few things but mostly RolePlaying for now. We slowly create the base where the Mission/Nation titles feature will step.

4.New Rare Voodoo card
Name: Pirate Tales
Target Type: Player
Rarity: Rare
Turns Needed: 3
Ability: Undercover
Steal a random amount (1% ~ 3%) of fame from target player

There are some more updates pending. Refer to the first post and check the non-strike through ones; these are the ones remaining.

Especially for some ideas, we still need some feedback (like fog Bank, piercing, etc). Follow the links there to add your opinion.

Out of all proposed updaates, only the tweak on Thieving Magpie has been postponed. Still we feel that this card needs an improvement a tweak on it will eventually take place. We will just need to iron out the details. The most preferred solution is to add flip coin ability to it alongside with the ability to select target (suggested in this topic). I was going make a really long post about things that I think need to be tweaked (mindbar and some other voodoo mostly). But I was waiting for the next update to see what is changed

Feel free to proceed with your post. The reason that the updates are halted is because we re-evaluate them. Our time schedule right now shows that we will have the next big feature ready in October so time is running out.
