question about gold bars?

So when gold bars are add to the game will they replace so other resource in a port? Or will you add new ports to the game?

Who cares about gold bars! We can have a mansion... hope there will be decor options : 'decandent opulence' is my fave... lots of crushed velvet, distressed leather and many many sparkly chandeliers... with hot and cold running wenches... and gold-plated dunnies...
