trade overview

I have been looking at the trade overveiw page but can't work out what its trying to tell me or why,
Anybody know what this page is for?

You mean the General Trade Report page? It shows how much trade profit you made

No not that, thats obvious what that's about
On the market page is a button that says TRADE OVERVIEW
Comes up with a list of resources and numbers of crates
What's that trying to tell me?

Is it how many crates of each commodity has passed through your hands since the last general resource upadate?

Nope. Maybe the amount of crates of resources that has been bought from ports by all players since last resource update?

It seems plausable and makes sense but I can't think of a use for this data

I never use it but it helps you see what resources are traded most. Like the best trade routes obviously are tools-iron. And rum and tobacco are mostly traded because of the party cards. Not very helpful really
