How much is fame worth to you?

Fame is cool, but nothing beats having reputation.

My vote is for nothing.

The best thing Fame does is measure activity levels of new players. It does have its uses.

Agreed, but there are other ways to measure activity. Consider influence, and fleet, voodoo sizes. If theyve spent the time to build it up, they obviously are invested in the game.

I've had the same opinion as DoomIris once. But once I use Politician Speech I can't stop watching my fame turns to gold. Sure is turn-wasting, but still worth it if your fame is high enough.

I agree fame has little to no value. I wish they would do something with it but I'm not sure what to be honest.
