chilli and cheese fritos in cool ranch chilli for dinner

Cool ranch chili? Is that Doritos cool ranch? Or Hidden Valley stuff?

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1/2 cup Ranch dressing of your choice (I use Mikes Amazing Cool Ranch dressing)

1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

2 scallions, thinly sliced


Combine the sour cream, vinegar, cilantro, chives. scallions and Ranch dressing in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper; whisk until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Canned fried onions, for topping

Once chilled use it as a topper for the chili... or mix it in depending on your preference.


I used Fritos chili and cheese chips on the bottom of the bowl, add the chili, then pepper jack shredded cheese, and finally, the cool ranch dressing mix lol.
