Argo nods to Jack and Sir Henry. She waves "See you there, Mel! We'll be getting ready now" and she heads to her ships calling to the crew, " Prepare to cast off" .. as she heads to her cabin.

Meliva hops aboard her flag galleon along with her crew, and they quickly weigh anchor, and sail off. The weather is nice at the moment-a strong breeze blows, and the sun is shining. She plots a course to the small island between Thorokas and Vaasburg, an island she calls Valorim.

The Large frigate is prepped and ready to go, the crew at their posts keen and hungry to sail. Argo instructs her crew and in no time they set sail. As much as she loves being at sea she does hold some apprehension on drawing too close to that island at the wrong time.

Its said there are Kraken nurseries all through there along the coastline and out as far as the northern reef. They also say the violent seas there are caused by mother-krakens upset at intrusions and see everything and everyone as a threat to their babies during the breeding season.

Thinking to herself,
"I've heard of these giants of the sea" . she mutters quietly out loud, " Pfft.. probably just some bored sailors story I'm sure.." She heaves the wheel hard to port and falls in line behind Mel's Flag galleon,

Jack's ship follows to Mel's starboard, flying only the green colors.

Emerging from his quarters, now sporting a sword and a brace of pistols. Morgan moves toward the helm. Now well underway, bring up the rear of the convoy, the Rum Devil surges forward, her sails filled with wind.

He smiles a wry smile, and turns to his first mate.

"I wager this may prove an interesting journey - stow the rum and be certain the cannon can be ready - let's keep the edge in our favor the best we can."

His eyes return to the convoy.

"One ne'er knows what adventure m'lady will get us into...."

The journey is uneventful for much of the trip, though as they near the island, the seas turn choppy, and dark clouds form on the horizon. Large shadows can be seen moving through the waters, though what they are is hard to tell. Wind picks up, and an icy gale can be felt chilling the sailors to the bone. Mel chants a few voodoo spells as they sail along, to help calm the seas and wind, which helps. They are nearing the island when a large sea serpent emerges from the waters, and eyes the boats. It looks long and hard at each of them before quickly delving back under the waters. The waters get rougher as they get closer to the island, when suddenly only about a mile out, they grow calm and the sun shines again. Mel prepares some rowboats and begins to move to land on them. She orders her men to stay on guard in case the sea serpent attacks.

Jack and his officers get in a jolly boat and are rowed ashore, jack holding a very expensive bottle of wine as a gift.

"Lower the long boat - I be goin' ashore. Mr. Tibbs ye have the helm."

Sir Henry Morgan began gather a small ensemble of crew to go ashore. The second mate nervously looked toward Morgan.

"Sir, what do we do if the sea monster returns?"

The crew went silent and a chill covered the deck., Morgan turned, and looked at his questioner. Standing tall casting a shadow over the young man,he replied:

"I reckon if ye have to ask, ye most likely die."

Morgan turned away to board the long boat. As he did so, he turned and grinned his eerie smile in the direction of his crew. Mr Tibbs, the first mate, muttered as the long boat was lowered to the sea:

"Oi. He's in a right mood."

The longboats quickly row ashore, once there Mel quickly hops off, she nods to Brian and has him lead the way forward. The group travels forward, inland, towards a cave which leads to a very large underground cavern. An old stone tower stands at the center of the cavern, surrounded by various statues, along with strange looking cows. Brian leads them to the tower and knocks on the door which opens moments later. In the tower is a small meeting area, where a young woman sits waiting. She nods and greets them

To those of you I've yet to meet, I am Emily. Pleasure to meet you. I have a job to offer you all if you want, but for now come sit down and enjoy some wine and food.

The table is set with some various foods-some meats, some fruits and veggies, along with some wine.

Morgan whispers to the two crew who accompanied the party, and the leave.

"M'lady."

Morgan pulls a chair for Argo, who smiles as she takes a seat. Jack does the same for Mel, then they seat themselves to enjoy Emily's hospitality.
