Well ladies and gentlemen, its been nice debating on the forum again. I want to thank everyone who contributed to the discussion!!!! Its sleepy time in my part of the world, I cant wait to read tomorrow the continuation when others do the same thing we did tonight.

Also, maybe the posts in-game tavern should be separated instead of just labelled. UoH should have its own header in the tavern list. I know I rarely look at the thread tags to see which category the post is in.

The game has been stagnant since plantation beta started (I believe it's still in beta?)
Many many good ideas have been put forward, none implimented.
Bugs reported too often get a "that's as intended" response, when noone knew the intent, nor is there any explaination.
It genuinely feels like admin have abandonded the game to all intent and purpose.
Why should the player, potential posters, feel any different

and I can see through past threads that you are daniks puppet and so undeniably biased its hilarious
I never report anything until you and danik go on report sprees but I guarantee if you are a mod I will cover the team in reports
I will go through every post from the past til now reporting and reporting and reporting until the dev team is tired of it

you are not mod material I posted a poem with no names danik arrived and just like every other topic involving danik

anyway where was the debate? all I saw was lets gang up on a mod blame it on him
and an attempt to get a mod spot from one of the problems

there can be no fixing anything if everyone that is a problem cant fess up to doing wrong
but your mend to that is mod fix it you broke it
that's not how repairs work

Yet, according to your own previous posts : folk shoukd be adult enough to ignore insults or opinions they don't like. Except when they specifically target folk with opinions they dont like : then its payback for... ummm... having opinions they dont like!

actually its been a great year

but here is the problem in its entirety
danik: blah blah blah.... (some outdated denigrating of another player with a few words with more syllables for some faux flexing)
dman: blah blah blah .... (some overly used phrase or word that is known to trigger danik)
danik: OH NO REPORT REPORT IVE BEEN TARGETED AND ATTACKED STAN HELP ME RESPOND AND REPORT THIS GUY. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT HE ATTACKED ME. OH WHERE ARE THE MODS WHEN YOU NEED NEED THEM.
dman: HAHAHAHAHAAAAAA that's some funny stuff right there I don't care who you are

say what you want but this scenario is a common occurrence
repeated over and over wash rinse repeat

when you fix a problem there will always be the need for accountability not finger pointing
i tend to go in order when identifying and fixing problems
so if you want me to change you would have to identify the first problem in this scenario take accountability then start fixing it
let me know when you get that far and then ill participate without laughing at you and your tag along help

I'm not quite sure how to fix this problem but the key problems are: I think moderators have gotten used to certain players behaviors and therefore do not enforce the rules, the forum rules are a little hard to find so people might not know the rules except for pretty obvious ones like no pornographic pictures and not to circulate anything illegal because I personally have not seen those forum rules in years. Another problem I think is what different moderators tolerate like some moderators might be willing for discussions to get pretty extreme compared to others. Lastly some players who play this game do not like each other due to things happening in the past and cannot have a civil discussion without degenerating into arguing. This effects the forums quite a lot since it is mainly older players who go onto the forums and are the ones who post. These are mostly older players who have played this game for a very long time compared to newer players where it is very rare for newer players to argue.

I don't have a solution but I propose a new plank page thing where it says: Headquarters, plunder, market, tavern and court (as well as hideout for me) adding another plank that has game rules, forum rules, terms of service and any kind of game rules in a central spot that players can easily access without having to go digging around. I'm aware that the game rules and terms of service are down the bottom but a plank can be added to make it easier to see and find and have everything all in one spot.

What do you guys think? My suggestion doesn't directly help this forum problem but I think having all rules related to pirates glory in one spot would make it easier for players to check rules.
