Magan takes the rejection rather stoically, and gestured at the wand. His heart, however, is broken, though he hid it well.

Even so, please accept this wand. I'd hate for such a beautiful creation to go to waste.

Veera nods and takes the wand before leaving, before heading to meet with her kin elsewhere to discuss recent events and what they should do. The last of the gatherings in Goroum having finished, and all the visitors finally leaving, the locals get to work repairing their defenses and damages taken from the attack, and preparing for future battles.




and I think that's a good place to wrap this one up. New one will come up probably tomorrow I think.

In a whirl of excitement AuntyJaynieDarling bursts through the tavern door. Her eyes immediately seek and find Agrat.
Rushing to her and pulling up a chair to join her she says,
"Agrat... thank you. Such a delight to arrive back to my room and find the bouquet sitting there all sparkly and voodoo free.."
But as I plucked the jewels, I really couldnt help myself, I noticed this strange stone. It has a marking on it. Feel it.. Its freezing... burning freezing.." Aunty pulls a small leather pouch from her skirts and hands it to Agrat ...

"Ive never seen anything like it...and look... it glows as if its looking back at you!!!"

The stone was a Dragonseye, an artifact that allowed dragons to spy on things from far away. Magan watched them through his other Eye, and smiled.

That Auntie woman.... she'd do in a pinch....

Agrat takes the glowing rock and examines it, frowning again before speaking

It's incredibly rude to spy on other's Magan. Especially ladies while they are unaware.

she firmly grasps the stone in her hand and crushes it, sending a very sharp pain to Magan while she does so before looking to Aunty

You should probably just sell everything that was in that bouquet. Who knows what other tricks he put in it. Let someone else worry about it.

He shouted, spewing out a string of curses that would make a sailor blush.

It is clear by the expression on Auntys face that she is crushed as much as that perving stone .. or whatever it was ..

Sheepishly she pulls a bundle of pouches from her skirts and lays them in a stack one on top of the other.

"They all have symbols on them.. but thats the only one I saw glowing...You might think Im mad... but there is a stone that, at times.. er.. sings? " Her eyebrows shoot up in an expression that pleads please dont think Ive lost my marbles...

Agrat looks over the stones

Should probably just sell or destroy all of these. I suppose you could take them to a talented witch to repurpose them for something else, or sell them to a witch who might want to work with them. I would not keep them if I were you. Veera's sister Emily would probably buy them from you or repurpose them for a payment. Or I could destroy them all right now.

He pulls out another tone, and starts singing some old dragon folk song.

Aunty finds herself becoming light headed and begins to sway like a cobra being charmed from a basket.. Her eyes have turned blank as if in a trance...she stares off into the distance as she moves to the voice she hears ringing in her ears .. That is all of which she is aware .. she feels like she is floating somewhere else but here in the tavern.
