I know i know, its because none of the greatest minds on history ever did it right, but the gender studies professor in at WhoGivesAShart University has figured it all out

Venezuala, China, Cuba are 3 off the top of my head. You can find a list of some more if you googled. They still exist sadly.
Yeah Draque, I've come to learn that like with many faulty positions, they tend to gravitate towards a few key points, and once you learn to refute those, they really have nothing left to say. Worthwhile anyway.
It's almost always the same with folks who promote socialism. It's either "real socialism hasn't been tried" or "look at the scandinavian countries" or "it's a good idea in theory, and if we could just get it right".
How many times must history show that it just won't work before people get the point that it's just a bad idea? I forget who said this, but I remember a quote stating the best proof that intelligent life exists outside of earth is the fact that they've never contacted us.
You realize that communist countries tend to also be dictatorships right? There's a reason for that. Because without a government forcing everyone to do what they say, communism and socialism won't work.

yeah that would be cool, teaching primitive civilizations to do things

Frankly I don't see things going well for the primitive civilization based on our own personal history of what happens when a more advanced society meets a less advanced one. If we did that to our own kind, I'd hate to imagine what we'd do to a different species.
But I'm a bit of a cynic. Maybe things will work out. I am doubtful though.
