suggested voodoo - municipal plague doctor

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

It's just a matter of pricing it right. It we make it cost 500 credits worth of ingredients, and take two weeks to craft, I doubt any port would have this permanently.

I really dislike this as well. Part of the reason is because I don't feel like there should be a card that provides

1. Permanent Effects
2. Protection from Port Influence / Population voodoo.

I dislike the idea of a Port-Mindbar. BDs and Conspiracies should be left as is.

Owning a port should be considered more of a Luxury than a privelage. This is asking for a bit too much. There needs to be voodoo that can hurt a port. And BD is that voodoo that hurts the port instead of the owners.

The voodoo that hurts ports will still exist. And this card would not give a "permanent protection" any more than players are "permanently protected" by ordinary mindbars. The card would have to be very expensive and have a long crafting time, to ensure that continous use would be infeasible. It would be to secure temporary protection of a port.

Also, there are some other suggestions for new cards affecting ports, too. Like "Pirate's Bay", a card that boosts trade in a port, a card that makes moving population from a port more profitable, a "Port Purify" etcetera. This card should be seen in light of this as well. A port mindbar could have both offensive and defensive use if all these suggestions are implemented.

I agree with DoS and I dislike this suggestion. I don't want to see this prevent nation mission progress and Black Death/Conspiracy.
