My question is whether or not the card description is right to the point or not. We try to describe the functionality in the best way possible.
For the record, since you shared a bunch of stats and you could not keep them for yourselves, the rates are:
Around 50% Merchant
Around 30% Admiral
Around 20% Captain
So I guess Haron, you had your facts right. You could have kept it for yourself but yet you have chosen to publicly share your knowledge. I am just certifying it. I think the playerbase should point their thanks to you for the extra wisdom. Especially Assasins.
In my opinion, the description is not accurate. Mathematically speaking it may be so (there is a random element), but in every day speak, the card description should be understood as "...with equal probability". If you are at a lottery with one winning ticket and two not winning tickets, and you're told you will "get a random ticket", you definitely take that to mean that there will be 1/3 chance that you'll get the winning ticket, not that they will roll a D100 and give you the winning ticket only if the D100 turns up a 100 (1% probability). So in my opinion, this probability distribution should be printed on the card.
However, I think it would be even better if the probabilities were adjusted to be 1/3 for each officer type. Assassins are puny enough as it is. I consider reducing the Captain probability from 1/3 to 20% to be a bad nerfing of this card.
Question A: Does bribe give 1/3 chance for each officer type?
Question B: Is this probability distribution for assassins something that has always been like this, or has it been modified at some time? If so, why?
If you wish to change it then I expect every assassin cast in the history of the game to be rerolled. Trying to change the rules that have been in play for everyone else to suit your new interest in the card is funny and the act of a crybaby.
Cast your cards like everyone else has and be happy or dont.
But trying to bend the game to your will is asinine and the act of someone needing to buy stock in Kleenex
damages or butthurt received in the posting of these words is solely yours and yours alone
if counseling is needed therapist ahben buthert or cryin ferdays is available at the tp kleenex & creme clinic
I am a silly head and a meanie.
