In the graveyard Veera nods to Gaster

Sounds good to me. Can you handle that on your own while I go fetch Vune? Or would you like my assistance here?

In the bar Eloth looks to the man in Black

Heya. I'm Eloth, feel like getting roped into an adventure?

As he waits for the response he looks to the others

Honestly, if I could blindside Veera, I could take her out before she teleports away. Sadly, that's hard to do. I'm not exactly stealthy to begin with, and Veera can sense when I'm near.

No, Go ahead and get Vune. I brought everything I needed. He begins digging up graves, and turning the bodies into lichee. He then tossed their phylacteries into the Void, as to make it uneccisarily difficult. Then he hides several assassins, each with different targets in the local nobility. Finally, he begins to summon Cthulu, Shub-Niggurath, and Yog-Sothoth.

The man in black finishes his drink and looks at Eloth.

I was looking to get reacquainted with an old friend, but I guess I can spare some time for your adventure.

Jack puffs on his pipe

You could blindside her and then I'll shoot her, or someone will do something.

Black turns to them.

No, no that won't work. I already tried it. She would be dead right now if some outside force hadn't turned the bullets on me. For now, sneak attacks are our best bet, but even they don't seem to work.

Jack sips his coffee

Look here mate. I fired a musket and hit her in the stomach remember? Shooting her is an option. Though admittedly not a very viable one.

Unless that same force blocks the shot. If it can turn bullets midair, it can stop them to.

Jack looks confused

Uhh...both muskets and pistols fire bullets mate. And I hit Veera with a bullet.

Technically, they fire balls, but that's being nit picky. As for that, well, this time, it likely will stop you. One thing you learn, battling Eldritch gods, is they hear EVERYTHING. Especially Gaster.
